Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the relationship between Lace Passport (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the purchaser and/or traveler (“Client,” “passenger,” “you,” or “your”). By planning travel with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and acknowledge that Lace Passport acts solely as a booking agent for disclosed principal supplier tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, airlines, air charters, bus companies, ground transportation, boat providers or owners, and other independent contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and other services (“Supplier(s)”). Lace Passport is not the source or direct provider of these travel services.

These terms include warranties, disclaimers, and exclusions of liability that may restrict your rights and remedies and provide protections to Lace Passport.

USE OF LACE PASSPORT SERVICES, ACCESS, AND INFORMATION FOR TRAVEL BOOKINGS

You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this Agreement and make travel bookings. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your travel bookings made on behalf of yourself and any member of your traveling party, and you warrant that all information supplied by you is true and accurate. You agree that you will only make legitimate reservations or purchases with us and our Suppliers, and acknowledge that speculative, false, or fraudulent reservations are prohibited.

All bookings are accepted by Lace Passport as an agent for the Suppliers on your itinerary. Separate Supplier terms and conditions will apply to your reservation and purchase of travel-related goods and services, and you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of each Supplier you select.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

You are fully responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising from your travel bookings. By submitting a credit card authorization form, you authorize Lace Passport to use your payment method to purchase travel products from Suppliers on your behalf.

Except in cases of fraud, you agree not to file any dispute with your bank or credit card company to avoid or violate Supplier or Lace Passport booking terms, including cancellations or changes outside of our control. If you attempt to chargeback, reverse, or recollect a previously authorized trip payment, Lace Passport reserves the right to collect all additional costs, fees, and expenses associated with such action, including attorney fees.

All payments are due prior to departure, according to each Supplier’s booking terms. Failure to make final payment or violation of a Supplier’s terms may result in cancellation of your reservations, denial of access to services, or forfeiture of monies paid. In some cases, deposits and payments are nonrefundable. All cancellation requests must be sent to Lace Passport in writing. Supplier cancellation penalties will apply, and fees will be charged to your authorized payment method or deducted from refunds.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, IDENTIFICATION, AND TSA/DHS REQUIREMENTS

It is the Client’s responsibility to obtain and carry valid passports, visas, and all other documents required by applicable government regulations. Identification requirements can be found at: TSA Acceptable IDs. Your identification must match your airline tickets exactly. Failure to comply may result in denied boarding or missed travel.

When you receive travel documents, it is your responsibility to review them carefully for accuracy. Contact Lace Passport immediately if changes or corrections are required.

We strongly recommend ensuring your passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond your travel return date. Non-U.S. citizens may require additional documentation. Lace Passport is not responsible for visa issuance or entry approval decisions.

Children and minors may require notarized consent forms to travel internationally. See: CBP Minor Travel Information.

INDIVIDUAL ENTRY AND EXIT REQUIREMENTS

Different countries have different entry restrictions, including policies on prior criminal offenses. Please consult the relevant country directly or visit the U.S. State Department for requirements.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

Federal law prohibits carrying hazardous materials on aircraft. See TSA Prohibited Items.

HEALTH & IMMUNIZATIONS

You are responsible for having proper immunizations, health screenings, and proof of required vaccinations. Lace Passport does not assume responsibility for verifying medical documentation. Refer to CDC Travel Health and the State Department for guidance.

AIR TRAVEL

Airline schedule changes, cancellations, or missed flights are not the responsibility of Lace Passport. Departure taxes may apply and must often be paid in cash. Failure to use a flight reservation may result in automatic cancellation of subsequent flights.

LIMITATIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Lace Passport acts solely as an agent for Suppliers. Suppliers are independent entities not subject to our control. You agree Lace Passport is not liable for personal injury, property damage, cancellations, delays, bankruptcies, or any Supplier actions outside of our control.

RISKS & SAFETY

Travel involves inherent risks. Lace Passport urges Clients to review government travel advisories before booking. Enrollment in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is strongly recommended.

By booking with Lace Passport, you acknowledge and accept travel risks as your sole responsibility.

FORCE MAJEURE

Lace Passport is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including natural disasters, pandemics, war, or governmental actions). Refunds in such cases are at the discretion of the Supplier. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

CLIENT CONDUCT

You are expected to act responsibly and respectfully. Suppliers and Lace Passport reserve the right to remove you from any travel arrangement if your conduct endangers others or disrupts operations. No refund will be issued in such cases.

You are financially responsible for any damages you cause to property or Supplier services.

CURRENCY FLUCTUATIONS

Prices are subject to change based on currency fluctuations. Lace Passport is not responsible for foreign transaction fees imposed by your bank.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your trip investment. If you decline insurance, Lace Passport may require a signed waiver. Lace Passport is not a licensed insurance broker and cannot guarantee coverage decisions.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Lace Passport reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.

GENERAL

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Porter County, Indiana.

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lace Passport regarding travel bookings.
